Nissan Offers Three Years of Free Service for 2011MY GT-R in the UK



Chinese distributor Pang Da Automobile is pumping more cash into Spyker NV's ailing Swedish unit Saab by placing a new order for 630 vehicles valued at €15 million or US$21.5 million. This latest order comes after an earlier one last week for 1,300 cars worth €30 million (US$43.2 million) and is part of a broader deal in which Pang Da agreed to buy a 24 percent stake in Saab’s parent company Spyker for €65 million (US$93.5 million). The Swedish automaker said that as with the first order, Pang Da will pay the additional €15 million order up front with the funds expected to be received by the end of this week. Delivery of the vehicles ordered by Pang Da will start in the fall of this year.
Saab and Spyker CEO Victor Muller said the new order proves that the Swedish automaker has found the “right partner” in Pang Da. Muller added that he looks forward to the next step in the business partnership between the two companies “when we set up joint ventures for distribution and, at a later stage, production in China together with a still-to-be-named manufacturing partner”.
Pang Da Automobile’s CEO and Chairman Pang Qinghua, CEO said that his company made “the right decision in entering a partnership with Spyker and Saab Automobile”.
Saab restarted production on Friday, May 27, after a near eight week stoppage due to unpaid bills to suppliers.

Full Carbon Nissan GT-R with 600HP+ Upgrade by Original Runduce


The sketch you see pictured above represents a new tuning proposal for the Nissan GT-R R35 from Japan's Original Runduce that will certainly capture the attention of enthusiasts. The full carbon-fiber bodied GT-R will come with an overly aggressive aero kit bundling wider front and rear fenders, a new hood with several air vents and a larger rear wing plus different alloy wheels just to mention a few of the upgrades.

Original Runduce is keeping most details secret for the time being, but the Japanese tuning firm did reveal that the pumped up GT-R R35 will benefit from numerous engine mods that will lift output to over 600 horsepower.

The finished Nissan GT-R R35 is expected to make its debut at next month's "Tokyo Auto Salon 2010" in Japan.

Hard Drive It: Audi R8 Diecast Model with 250-640GB Data Storage Capacity

Many gear heads like ourselves, like to decorate their office desk with scale model cars that chances are, will never be able to afford in this life. Now what better for our congested workspace if the scale model could also incorporate a hard drive? Well, at least that seems to be the idea behind the products of a company called Flash Rods that specializes on scale model cars with integrated flash or hard drives.

The company's latest creation is a 1:18 scale Audi R8 that incorporates a hard drive disk that connects up to your PC by USB to store all your files. The company said that the Audi R8 will be available for sale on November 1st, in 250GB, 500GB and 640GB configurations and numerous colors.

The company hasn't announced prices yet for the R8, but the already available 1:18 scale Dodge Challenger and Nissan GT-R HDDs both start from $209.99 for the 250GB versions.
